Connect module

Run your site from your phone.

Pair once with a QR code and every chat, form entry, callback, booking and ticket lands in one inbox you can act on — reply, confirm, call back, check in at the door. And when you want the rest of your stack to know, Connect posts the same events straight to Make, Zapier or your own CRM.

The essentials

Everything your site needs to reach you

Connect is the half of WPStack that lives outside the dashboard — on your phone, and in whatever else you already automate.

One inbox, not five

Every enquiry from every module lands in a single list, newest first. Nothing to check in five places.

Push the moment it lands

A booking, a form, a callback, a chat, a registration — your phone tells you, and the tap opens the right screen.

Reply, don't just read

Answer a chat with a live typing indicator both ways, confirm or reschedule a booking, call someone back, mark it handled.

Scan tickets at the door

Point the camera at a ticket QR code to check someone in. Undo a mistake on the spot; re-scans never double-count.

Only the tabs you own

Connect shows sections for the modules you actually run. A booking-only site never sees an empty Chat tab.

Wire it into everything

Post bookings, registrations, form entries, chats and callbacks straight to Make, Zapier, n8n or your own CRM.

Several sites, one phone

Pair every site you look after and switch between them from the top of the app.

Revoke in one tap

Lost a phone? Remove the device and its access ends immediately. Your WordPress password was never on it.

How it works

Paired in under a minute

No account to create on the phone, no keys to copy between services. Scan a code and you are connected.

01

Switch Connect on

Activate it under WPStack → Modules. A Connect screen appears in the menu.

02

Scan the code

Install WPStack on your phone, tap Add site, and scan the QR — or type the address and token instead.

03

Pick your sections

Choose which tabs appear in the app. Everything you own is on by default.

04

Point it at Make

Optional: paste a webhook URL under Integrations, tick the events, and send a test.

The inbox

Everything that needs you, in one list

Chats, form entries, callbacks, bookings and event registrations arrive together, newest first — with a counter on each tab that only clears when you actually deal with something.

  • Counts outstanding work, not unread noise
  • Today’s bookings as a half-hour agenda
  • Tap through to reply, confirm or call back
  • Switch between every site you look after

At the door

Your phone is the ticket scanner

Open an event and scan. Each ticket checks in with its own vibration for accepted, already-used and invalid, so you can work a queue without staring at the screen. A ticket for a different event is flagged rather than quietly accepted.

  • Instant check-in, or confirm the name first
  • Undo a mis-scan on the spot
  • Re-scans never double-count
  • Live progress — 42 of 120 scanned in

Automation

Send it anywhere, safely

Paste a webhook URL from Make, Zapier, n8n or your own script, pick the module, and tick the events it should receive. Seventeen events across Booking, Events, Forms and Chat — each delivery signed, retried once on failure, and kept in a log you can read.

  • One-way by design — nothing can write back in
  • Signed with HMAC-SHA256 so you can verify it
  • Every field always present, so mappings never break
  • Only modules you own are offered

Security

Built to have nothing worth attacking

Pairing is the only route open without a token, and it is rate-limited. Session tokens are stored hashed, so the site never holds one that could be stolen. Integrations send outward only — there is no inbound endpoint and no API key for anyone to hold.

  • The app never holds your WordPress password
  • Revoke a lost device and access ends at once
  • Signing secrets encrypted at rest
  • Replies cannot be redirected to another address

Works with the stack

It surfaces whatever you already run

Connect has no data of its own. It shows the modules you own, and each one gains a phone and an automation channel the day you switch it on.

BookingConfirm, reschedule and archive appointments — or take a booking on the phone.
EventsRegistrations, ticket totals and a QR door scanner with live scan progress.
FormsRead every submitted field and reply by email, sent by your site rather than your phone.
ChatAnswer live chats and return call-me-back requests without opening a laptop.

Pairing needs HTTPS and a reachable REST API. Webhook delivery uses WP-Cron, so it stays out of your visitors’ requests.

FAQ

Connect, answered

No. Pairing is the whole login — scan the QR code and you are in. The licence lives on your site, and the app just holds a token for each site you pair.

No. The app talks directly to your own site over HTTPS. The only outside call is to Apple's push service, and it carries a short title and the site address so the app knows where to open — never the content of a message.

Two on Starter, five on Pro, effectively unlimited on Agency. Re-pairing a device you already added does not use a second slot.

No. Webhooks are strictly one-way — the module exposes no inbound endpoint at all. That rules out some two-way sync scenarios, and it is a deliberate trade for having nothing to attack.

Only if you want them. Any URL that accepts a POST works, including your own script. Make and Zapier are simply the quickest way to turn an event into an action without writing code.

Open Connect → Devices and revoke it. Access ends on the next request, and no password change is needed because the app never held your WordPress password.

iOS first. The site side is identical either way, so nothing you set up now will need redoing.
